How do you track analytics?
eVouch’s algorithm measures the engagement of each Instagram profile who uses our services. With this algorithm, scores are allocated to customers and a statistically correct approximation of their reach and views can be created.
How do you stop fake Instagram accounts?
The eVouch system requires all posters to have at least 50 followers. We have also built and trained a simple artificial neural network model to detect spam/fake Instagram accounts.
What if customers delete their photo?
We check both at the start of the process and at the end of the 24 hours to make sure a shopper has not deleted their post. Incentives are only allocated after this 24 hour period.
I’m not getting any Instagram stories, what should I do?
There are two main factors for you not getting your stories, your discount and your story image. Your discount level should be enough to incentivize your shoppers to post on their Instagram story. If your discount level is the same as any other sale, shoppers won’t feel pushed to post.
Secondly, your story image. For many shoppers, their Instagram story and their social media in general is a reflection of their public ego. Therefore, shoppers can be protective of the integrity of their Instagram story. A good exercise is to put yourself in the shoes of your shoppers posting.
Test out different combinations of discounts and images to hit the sweet spot!
Can I choose any discount level?
While the eVouch plugin lets you input any amount for your discount, we recommend a discount that considers both your shoppers needs and your own margins. A discount too low will result in a weak incentive for your shoppers to post.

How does your pricing work?
The 99 cent charge per story occurs after we validate that a shopper has posted an Instagram story for the full 24 hour period. The post validation charge is to ensure that you pay for exactly what you get. Charges are processed automatically with Shopify.
What image should I give?
The image provided should best fit with your objectives. Think of it as a Facebook ad creative. You can showcase your product, your company, or even your exemplary service. While you are free to let customers share any image, we do verify that the image fall under our terms and conditions.

Personal Information the App Collects
When you install the App, we are automatically able to access certain types of information from your Shopify account:
Email// To contact the merchant via email
Billing information// For Shopify billing purposes
Shop name// This request is needed for internal purposes
Shop URL// This request is needed for internal purposes including your automatic template widget.
Additionally, we collect the following types of personal information from you and/or your customers once you have installed the App: Information about you and others who may access the App on behalf of your store, such as your name, address, email address, phone number, and billing information; Information from your Shoppers including their email, their payment due date and their country; We also collect your shoppers’ and your store’s Instagram username, data which belongs to you/your customers Instagram profiles including followers, engagement and Story data. Information about individuals who visit your store, such as their IP address, web browser details, time zone, and information about the cookies installed on the particular device. This information is primarily needed to maintain the security and operation of our Apps, and for our internal analytics and reporting purposes.
We collect personal information directly from the relevant individual, through your Shopify account, or using the following technologies: “Cookies” are data files that are placed on your device or computer and often include an anonymous unique identifier. For more information about cookies, and how to disable cookies, visit http://www.allaboutcookies.org. “Log files” track actions occurring on the Site, and collect data including your IP address, browser type, Internet service provider, referring/exit pages, and date/time stamps. “Web beacons,” “tags,” and “pixels” are electronic files used to record information about how you browse the Site. We are also using Google analytics and Facebook Pixel.
Permission to view customer accounts through Instagram. This permission is required for the automated fraud detection on customer Instagram stories. The data collected via Instagram will be used.
How Do We Use Your Personal Information?
We use the personal information we collect from you and your customers in order to provide the Service and to operate the App. Additionally, we use this personal information to: Communicate with you; Optimize or improve the App; and Provide you with information or advertising relating to our products or services.
For other Business Purposes
We may use your information for other Business Purposes, such as data analysis, identifying usage trends, determining the effectiveness of our promotional campaigns and to evaluate and improve our Apps, products, marketing and your experience. We may use and store this information in aggregated and anonymized form so that it is not associated with individual end users and does not include personal information. We will not use identifiable personal information without your consent
Sharing Your Personal Information
Finally, we may also share your Personal Information to comply with applicable laws and regulations, to respond to a subpoena, search warrant or other lawful request for information we receive, or to otherwise protect our rights.
Behavioural Advertising As described above, we use your Personal Information to provide you with targeted advertisements or marketing communications we believe may be of interest to you. Additionally, if you are a European resident we note that we are processing your information in order to fulfill contracts we might have with you (for example if you make an order through the Site), or otherwise to pursue our legitimate business interests listed above. Additionally, please note that your information will be transferred outside of Europe, including to Canada and the United States.
When you place an order through the Site, we will maintain your Order Information for our records. Unless and until you ask us to delete this information.
